How to create a new PO or use an existing one with Automatic reorder
Dealers to have the option, with auto reorder parts, for the system to either automatically create a PO or to add them to an open PO.
To create an Automatic Reorder, go to Purchase orders > Tools > Automatic Reorder:
By clicking on Automatic Reorder, it will load the Auto-Reorder Vendors screen – this will list all the vendors that have parts that need to be reordered:
By double clicking on your selected vendor line:
If there is no existing open PO for the selected Vendor, the system will create a new PO with auto-reorder parts added on it; or
If there is an existing open PO for the selected vendor, the system will list all open PO and user can select a PO to add the auto-reorder parts onto or user has the option to create a New PO with auto-reorder parts.
When a new PO is created or an existing open PO is selected to add auto-reorder parts to, this PO will be loaded to let the user review the PO to submit or save etc.
To tell if the line item on the PO was added by the auto re-order function, there is an AR indicator on the PO and a note is added in the Notes field:
