It is crucial that each workstation and the server are all set to the same Language (Location). All of them should be set to either English (United States) or English (Canada).  This controls the short date format. When the setting is not the same between the workstation and the server, it causes inconsistencies to occur in the posting date of transactions within DealerVu, such as: 

• On the workstation, a posting “appears” to have a different date than the SAME posting on the server (server date rules)
• Multiple daily books open

 To check this, perform the following steps: 

1. Click on your start button and go into the Control Panel
2. In Category view, click on “Date, Time, Language and Regional Options”

3. In Classic View, click on “Regional and Language Options”

Once in the Regional and Language Options, ensure that each workstation and the server are all set to the same Language (Location).
