Active Session Loss Notification
Active Session Loss Notification
In previous versions, when a user signs onto a second workstation, it causes their session on the first workstation to be de-activated. On the first workstation, there was no indication that the session had been deactivated. This generally resulted in the user receiving an “Invalid Session ID” application error when they attempted to open/save something on the first workstation.
To reduce these errors, with Version 1.23, each workstation will frequently check for an active user session. If it finds that the current session has become deactivated, it will display the “Session Login” screen and a valid username/password must be entered before any other processing can proceed on the workstation.

The frequency of this check for active session has been set to once every one (1) minute.
