Store to Store Credit Transfers
In the Customer Details screen> Store to Store Menu- View/Transfer Customer Credit screen, columns “Charge Balance”, “Credits” and “Net Balance” have replaced the previous columns “Credit Limit” and “Credit”. The amount to transfer will now default to Net Balance.
A warning “Transfer will result in a Balance Owing for the source customer! Do you wish to continue?” pops up if the amount to transfer is greater than the net balance and less than or equal to Credits. The user can click on “No” button to cancel the transfer.
After the transfer is completed, “Credits” and “Net Balance” will be updated and a message box will pop up showing "Credit transfer succeeded!".
How To: To transfer credits from another store, from the Customer Detail record, select the “View or Transfer Customer Credit” tool from the “Store To Store” menu.
You will be presented with the “View/Transfer Customer Credit” screen in which will be listed the customers accounts from all other stores. If their account does not display for a particular store, you will need to map
that stores customer record to the one you are viewing using the “Find and Match Customer” tool.
Select the checkbox on the left for which account you would like to work with and then enter the amount of credit you wish to transfer. By default the customers “Net” credit balance will be suggested.
When you are ready to process the transfer select the “Transfer Credit” toolbar icon.
